Fruit Press Wine Making Tool Grape Cider Berry Pear Apple Juice 6 12 or 18 Litre

Sturdy press that produced lots of juice for cider!

I bought the 12l press. It comes flat in a box and needs a bit of putting together, basically screwing the wooden uprights to the two steel rings to form the basket. All very solid when fitted together. I found when it was filled with apple pulp, one press produced just over a gallon of juice. I did find it difficult to transfer the pulp from my bucket to the muslin bad inside the press. I might try a bigger muslin bag next time to give a bigger opening. It would be good if it would hook around the top of the pressing basket all the way round. Looking forward to my cider once it has had time to age!

Nice mix of healthy plants

Plants arrived well packaged and in moist compost so were perfectly healthy. A good mix of 12 different plants all well established of 12-18 inches height. If I had to make one slightly negative comment, it would be that the handwriting on the plant labels was a little difficult to read. Plants have all established well, and should make for a great looking border!

Pulping apples on a budget

Probably the best way to pulp apples for cider making in reasonable bulk without shelling out for something expensive. Has picked up a few scratches around the sides where I was a bit vigorous wiggling the spinning blade around, hopefully this wont be a problem with contamination etc.
