Should be useful

Sharp, flat and easy to go out of the box.
I've bought lots of planes over the last couple of years. Some in need of restoration. Some 'cheap' that needed fettling to get to good order. This one was different. It was ready and set with a flat sole, sharp iron (decent polish on both side of the cutting edge capable of 1/1000th of an inch cut) and good to go. It's a thick iron too. Totally happy with this purchase.

Great simple sharpening stone
A quick try with it has improved some of my gouges immediately.
