Ultra Premium quality hooks
I have been trying a lot of different brands (and brand-less) of hooks trying to find something good at a much lower price than Tiempco, Daiichi, etc. I found a lot of good hooks but these Maruto 206bl are up there in quality with any name brand. Size 20 fine wire hooks that don't straighten out or break, ultra sharp, great fish holding shape, at 1/2 the price of comparable quality.

High performance scissors.
Have a couple pairs of Dr Slick's regular scissors. These razor scissors are on another level. Fit and finish, blade/tip alignment, and sharpness are better. Gets the thread behind bead head midges easily. Big comfortable finger holes. Tension adjuster smoother and finer adjusting than expected. Worth the extra $5-10 over standard scissors. Made from harder steel than standard Dr Slicks so hopefully will stay sharp longer.

Nice to carry one shield.
Thought it was too expensive but compared it to my Smith photochromic fishing glasses at $250 so it’s actually not a bad deal.
