James Fenimore Cooper
Dad is gone now. But he left a reading legacy to his grandsons that I wanted to encourage. He loved the stories of James Fenimore Cooper. This was the best gift I could give to these boys. To know their grandpa they only need read these stories.

Not what it claims
This is a coffee table book. It has no real content, just full color photos with a half dozen common recipes.
The title implies that it is a cook book, but it's just fluff.

This family is yours for the viewing.
A history buff would find it hard work to refute this naked saga of the early West.
An engaging family becomes intimate through several generations of growth and struggle.
You won't want this great story to end.
