Sloane Complement
"Eric Sloane's America" provides an informative complement to the numerous publications covering Sloane's many contributions of art and history to early America life. In addition to being a prolific artist, Sloane produced illustrative narrative that provided a clear understanding of America's beginning. Wigley's publication serves to extend and enhance preceding efforts. One could only wish to see more of Sloane's paintings.
