Who Killed Hanratty?
I decided to buy this after reading Paul Foots book Murder at the Farm about the Carl Bridgewater murder which happened about 2 miles from where I used to live, and is still in my memory. The Hanratty book is also as thought provoking, as to whether there was another big cover up in favour of the British government. Was he innocent? Well multiple witnesses placed him in a totally different place at the time of the murder..evidence of which was witheld from the defence case at the time, or was it a case of somebody must be seen to be convicted of the crime to save face?? Another suspect who was dismissed eventually confessed to the crime many times but still no justice.
A brilliant book, one that fires the imagination and inspires the detective within us all. Who Killed Hanratty??? You decide.
