Change it sooner, not later
After a few years, our vacuum emitted an odor while in use. Nothing awful, but unpleasant. Changing the secondary filter eliminated the odor and improved the vacuum’s performance. A bit fiddly to install, but worth it.

Good part, Poor packaging
The part was genuine Ariens, but it was shipped in a soft plastic bubble mailer. The flange of the sheet metal pulley was bent, probably from being dropped in transit. I hammered the pulley back into shape as best I could - but this would not have been necessary if the pulley had been properly mailed in a box.

Good quality; fit 1973 pickup
1 of 1 found this helpful Good quality brass keys. First locksmith I went to wouldn’t cut them, but a second one did. Work great in a 1973 IH pickup.
