Buy nice, not twice!

Although it looks very similar to the $9.99 copies, they are not comparable. The jaws on the Pedro's tool are stamped from thicker steel, and the tolerances are tighter. This is what is lacking on the cheap version, in which there is enough slack between the jaws and body of the pliers that it will allow the cable to slide between, bruising the cable. The damage that causes will be apparent when you go to cut the end off, and the wire will already be un twisted, making it difficult to impossible to crimp the end cap on. TL:DR, do your self a favor and get these the first time.
