Belkin N+ Wireless Router (F5D8235-4)
2 of 2 found this helpful I was getting fed up with cheaper routers that kept dropping my wifi signal. I tried LinkSys, Netgear and D-Link products but they were all pretty much the same: slower speeds than promised, range not quite far as stated, and they all dropped the wifi signal intermittently.
I decided to upgrade to an N+ router from the G routers i was using, and after doing some research decided on a Belkin. It was a breeze to setup, and works like a charm. Speed and range is actually better than promised on their website. I can take my iPad out into the backyard and into my neighbor's house without losing connection. I coupled this with the Belkin N+ Wireless USB adapter (F5D8055) for my desktop, and i couldn't be happier with my decision.
It also has this external storage feature which comes in handy: you can connect an external hard drive to the router to be shared with everyone on the network. So now i have all my music, pictures and movies on a 2TB external hard drive that the whole family can share. No more burning CD's or DVD's anymore. Totally awesome.
