Excellent book, a must buy for firefighters.
After having interest in exploring a career in firefighting, I watched a documentary in my Wildland Fire Management class on the South Canyon Fire on Storm King Mountain in Colorado. The documentary was based off of this authors book Fire on the Mountain so after watching an intense tragedy, I wanted to read more about it.
The author John N. Maclean is the son of the worst Wildland Firefighter Tragedy of Missoula Smokejumper history where 14 had perished, the South Canyon Fire also claimed 14 victims.
Pro: Great summarization, history and information on weather and blowup factors,victims, witnesses, an assesment of how media and bad communication caused internal errors during search and rescue, etc. photos, but extremely vivid with maps,timestamps, footnotes and inserts to help gain the most in depth understanding as possible.
+ This book is enjoyable with subtle narration and great dialogue.

Awesome DVD,
I bought this product as I watched it when I was 6 years old and had no idea what it pertained to. It is a beautifully graphic movie,as well as gory.Greats cience fiction story line about nuclear arms, high taxes fracturing society and telekinetic powers beyond what is imaginable. Good structure of plot, story and characters build up from the very beginning. It can get a little confusing but overall I give it the 5 stars it deserves for changing the face of anime, manga, and keeping the reality behind a super fantasy.
