Not entirely happy

I have, what looks like, exactly the same product already, which works well. However plugging in this unit causes my new Windows 10 laptop to crash (blue screen) each time I plug this webcam in. The old one still works fine. Plugging the new one into my Linux Mint PC instead and it works fine. Very strange but doesnt fulfill my requirement. I cant say it doesn't work, cos it does.
