Moto Tassinari (V302B) V-Force Reeds 1989-2008 RM125
1 of 1 found this helpful These are not a bolt on set of reeds, you will have to cut off the rubber tabs on the intake boot of your bike for these reeds to be matched to the intake boot. Come with simple instructions and a pair of bolts and washers for the mod to the intake boot. You will need a hack saw to cut the rubber and sand paper to remove any imperfections left behind from the cut, also the V-Force reed base is thicker then stock so you will need to replace the 4 stock M6-1.0 bolts that attach the reeds to the cylinder head with longer M6-1.0x25mm bolts. And If you remove the plastic piece inside the new V-Force reeds be sure you reinstall the correctly cause the reed port is off set and with not match up to the intake boot port. Instructions recommend stock jetting but I needed to go from needle clip 2 position and move it to the 3rd and pilot jet from 52 to 48, Minimal work with good performance improvements, especially to the low to mid range.
