A little makes a lot of difference
Only slightly thicker but so much more comfortable than the thin grips they replaced. I'll use fat grips on all my bikes if available.

Easy to use
Easy to use, the only tricky bit is getting the iron temperature right. Good point is if it starts to lift off it can be ironed back.
