I put them up in the garage and will be purchasing more of them for garage lighting. I glued them on a metal strip for a heat sink and they work excellent in cold weather. I also have them in my house under the counters and cabinets. I am hoping that the 3528 RGB Non waterproof strip 300 SMD LED holds up during the winter months. If not, I will replace the strip with waterproof strips. I have water proof strips under the eaves of my house outside and use them year around for lighting. I glued them with Goop marine glue and they are fastened to the aluminum sofit. I use the sofit as a heat sink in this case. I never have to take down my Christmas lights, or Halloween, or Thanksgiving, or whatever the holiday.
The best part of this product is the cost and cost to keep them running. If I ever sell this house, the LED lighting strips only add more value to the sale.
I also like 16.5' strips better than the pod light strips.
