Martin Turner x Wishbone Ash
A great collection of tunes played live including the whole of Argus. Excellent sound quality and playing. The rendition of songs from Wishbone 4 are particularly good. More melodic than Andy's Wishbone Ash, but rocks with the best of them when it comes to tracks like Blowin' Free, Living Proof, Vas Dis, Jailbait and You See Red. Well done Martin and the rest of the guys.

S9300 Nikon Coolpix
There are no aperture priority or other manual settings with this camera. But enough pre programmed options are available to cover most photo situations. The battery life is good and will give many years of service. I know this as I've had one for several years. Unfortunately after a jolt in the car the return spring in the zoom button of my older version of this camera became detached in some way making it difficult to operate.
Very useful is the macro mode, the powerful zoom, the dedicated video start/stop button and in camera editing functions. However, it's best to avoid using the USB cable to download pics to other devices. Much better to place the sd card in a card reader. A fully charged battery I found is the answer to the problems should you need to use a USB cable.
If you can live with this and get a reasonably good condition s9300 for under £60 then you'll have a great little camera that you can slip in a pocket and take with you anywhere.

Collins. FIELD GUIDE. Birds of the Palearctic: Passerines by Norman Arlott
Virtually all the species found in the Palearctic are covered in this and the companion volume that features the non passerines. As such any birder travelling in this region for business or pleasure would find them a useful tool to carry around. Obviously these small books alone can't cover all the information you would need. But if used in conjunction with local information or the internet then they would be well worth keeping in your travel bag.
