The Best detective character since Shelock holmes
This series of books about a german detective Bernie set in pre war/post war and during the war Nazi Germany are a tremendous read and the anti hero gunther is likeable rogue with a good heart despite his dodgy war record and other crimes.Highly recommended series you will not be disappointed with the excellent storylines full of tragedy and intrigue
