Looks good but only time will tell
This was a replacement for a similar cover (different make) which I'd had for 4 years. Compared with the previous cover:
This one is very generous in the width, so as shown in the photo, it completely covers the sides of the van. My previous cover didn't do that.
Although this is a 4 ply material, it doesn't seem to be as thick as the previous 4 ply. Whether this will be a problem only time will tell.
My previous cover had 6 zips whereas this one has 4 zips. But that's not a problem - because of the generous width it's easy to undo one of the zips, get under the cover and open the door.
Because the material is (possibly) a bit thinner I'm taking more precautions against "scagging" it on the roof rails, awning etc. My "manager" has suggested (and I've had to go along with her) that I roll out some old pieces of floor covering over the roof before putting the cover on. This does seem quite effective at softening any sharp edges.
