EDEN HOUSE 'Songs for the Broken Ones' new CD Fields of the Nephilim gothic prog

A real musical treat.

For me 'Songs For The Broken Ones' is the best The Eden House album so far. Despite the 'Goth Prog' tag that the band has, all the songs are very melodic and full of great musicality. Superb production throughout. The clever use of different female vocalists makes for great listening and adds variety.

A fabulous album

With every album Midas Fall get better and better. Evaporate is by far the best to date. The vocals are emotional, atmospheric and in places just beautiful. Musically, the whole album is skilfully crafted. The sound is very layered which adds to the atmosphere, but there is also an underlying rock energy that drives the album along. This is one of those albums that you want to keep playing over and over. The songs get in your head and demand being listened to. A very classy and mature collection of songs.
