I’ve been using a large splitter for a while and it’s hard work and sometimes a bit dangerous. I picked this because it came with a stand and seemed like it would be easy to pull in and out of the outhouse. The instructions weren’t too clear but it’s a fairly easy thing to work out how to mount the splitter on the frame. It would probably be easier with two people but I managed. In use, it’s very easy to work and makes light work of what would be many hours of swinging a big splitter.

It's cheap for a reason.

This is a low budget gel cover, it offers slight protection but nothing more. It's light, thin but a bit baggy. I have replaced this with a more robust cover, admittedly at a much higher cost.
