Carburetor for Tecumseh HSSK50
Needed a new carburetor for my snowblower after having a couple of mild years and forgetting to drain the gas from the unit or put stabilizer in the fuel. Cleaning it out with carb cleaner just didn't do the trick -- so I found this carburetor online here and after a simple install the snowblower fired right up the first time and runs like a brand new unit again. Very pleased with it.
Musician's Gear Electric, Acoustic and Bass Guitar Stands (3-Pack)
11 Feb, 2018
Not what they used to be!
I guess I have an older of the musician's gear stand because I was very disappointed upon receiving this order of new ones recently. The photos posted with the sale listing show the older model which is why I assumed that that is what I would receive. I don't have a lot of respect for sellers that don't keep their photos updated when the product changes and they continue to use an old stock photo. Anyway - For all of you looking to purchase these here is the difference - and I've added some photos as well. The steel tubing used is smaller and much lighter in thickness and quality. The bottom cradle for the instrument is now attached to the stand with a simple pass-thru method instead of a welded on sleeve which is much stronger. The lengths of the legs is smaller - especially the back leg - which makes the whole stand much more unstable with an instrument on it. I could probably overlook the other features of the stand if all the legs were just longer - if you are going to put your guitar on this thing shouldn't it be somewhat safe? Looking at other stands I'm thinking the Proline fretrest might be a better choice - costs a bit more but I think it's a lot more stable.

Orange 20 Foot Vintage Tweed Cloth Covered Guitar Amp Cable Cord Stagg #SGC6VTOR
18 Jul, 2018
Guitar cable very prone to cable noise
I'm not sure what type of wire they used in making this cable but it's very prone to cable noise - every movement with the cable comes through the amplifier as a crackling noise. At first I thought I might have just gotten a bad one so the store I purchased from very generously sent me a replacement, but that one is just as bad as well leading me to believe that this brand is all like that. Pay a little more and get a better quality one.
