Good, but...
Going wireless has certainly transformed my listening experience, and - with the Airmod being so light - it feels like it is part of the headphones.
The controls are easy to use. The one gripe I do have is that there is no forward or rewind option within a track, unlike the headset’s own controls.
Sound is clear, and louder than with the wire.
The biggest problem the unit does have is in busy spaces - the signal can be constantly disrupted by surrounding signals, meaning that it can completely distort what you’re listening to. Stand still and it might be normal again, but move again and you might as well switch it off until you find a calm spot again.
On the train, however, it is absolutely fine - so, for me, I can live with the few minutes of disruption, it means that I can enjoy the freedom being wireless gives me.
Battery life isn’t the greatest - I can manage around six hours on a charge on higher volume. If it does die on me, I simply change it for the cable (which I keep in the phones’ case).
So would I recommend the Airmod?
Absolutely- just as long as you don’t need it mostly in busy environments.
