Solar radio
I have found the Roberts SolarDAB2 reliable and effective. The only drawbacks are that the tone is not as sharp as would suit my hearing and is not adjustable. It lacks a sleep button.

Teasers
I enjoy the Guardian crosswords and to have a collection in a book is very helpful to one who doesn't take a daily newspaper. I was disappointed to find that the copy I received was used. Fortunately the previous user had not made much progress and only one or two puzzles at the beginning of the collection had a word or two and some unsuccessful notes so my enjoyment of the book is not much affected.
