Canny Tool
Well made, solid and strong tools. Deep sockets so will fit over long bolts. Compact so fit in tight spaces. You can fit a rod through the short end to improve leverage too. Well handy.

Effective, perhaps too effective...
It is bigger than I thought. Matched with either the 18v or 36v battery powered head unit does a swift and impressive job of sweeping up mud, pebbles or gravel from a solid surface. I did find that sweeping 20mm cotswold gravel from a deep base slightly problematic. It went down more than forwards. So better at trenching than sweeping! However I got around this by not allowing it to sit on the surface but to raise it slightly. A bit of effort but a lot less than raking stone by hand. On balance I would have preferred something 2/3rds thrds size (lighter) but with a means of balancing the head of the unit slightly higher without having to lift it entirely up off the ground.

Great piece of kit when you are on a pic...
Great piece of kit when you are on a picnic or in the field working. I take a large thermos (or 2) of water and boil it for tea/coffee as it makes the batteries last longer and quicker to make a brew. We had a power cut recently and this was a godsend. Very happy.
