Leaky hoses let air in so Kreepy doesn't work

I have used a Kreepy Krauly for more than 20 years and it has always been a good pool cleaner. This New "improved" model does not perform. Unit moves about 2 feet then the air leaks in the new hoses that come with the unit, cause the pump to pulsate with air and the suction is lost. Kreepy Krauly does not move. This is what happened when I bought cheap replacement hoses for my older model. Appears Pentair uses the same cheaply made hoses with no quality.
