Largely plastic, cheap but unlikely to be durable, however it does its job- for now at least.

I'm afraid this is inaccurate because there is too much play at the pressure valve so that it is difficult to seat on the tyre valve to get a consistent reading. Go for an all metal one, I've just found mine!
