0 of 2 found this helpful While this will add to the capacity of your remington 870 you will not be able to use an 18.5 in barrel. For a plus 2 mag tube extension this extension measures 9 in long. If you don't mind your mag tube being longer then your barrel then your good. I contacted promag and they say it is designed to be past the 18.5 in barrel by about 3 inches. The only way that you can have your barrel and promag plus 2 mag tube be even is to either get a 20 in barrel (pretty tuff to find) or to cut down a longer barrel. I am pretty disappointed with this product. I will say that it's quality is very good.
