303 Protectant Works!

Naturally, all manufacturers claim that they are the best. 303 Protectant is one of those time-test products that does the job of reducing environmental impacts that many old cars may face. What makes this product stand out from most others is that 303 does not leave a damaging residue after its protective properties have faded with time. Reapplication depends on the environment. However, I found that even in Southern California weather, 303 last as long as most similar products. Volume is everything so purchasing 303 Protectant by the gallon is fair more economical way to go.

This little hand warmer does the job.
After a few weeks of unexpected outdoor activity during the middle of winter, I got wise and purchased a Zippo hand warmer. I found that if the instructions are followed, the hand warmer did the job of keeping my hands warm in temperatures well below freezing. The key to maximizing the effectiveness of the warmer, turn it on while at warm room temperature.
Made of durable metal and plastic, the warmer has held together against accidentally drops. Be patient with charging. It will take a bit of time if you fully exhaust the battery. Overall, a great product and good value based upon performance and durability.

Spinout - Elvis Presley and vintage sports cars
If you are a fan of vintage sport car racing....and you enjoy Elvis Presley movies of the 60's, then you are likely to enjoy this vintage film. Much of the racing scenes were filmed in and around Agoura Hills, CA and many of the roads still retain their vintage look. At the very beginning of the movie, Elvis takes a spin off Mulholland Road and into a creek just across from Peter Strauss Ranch/Lake Enchanto, a unit of the National Park Service. The very location can still be seen from Mulholland road. Also, a few seconds of racing was shot at historic Paramount Ranch, another unit of the National Park Service. The scene was filmed at the old Paramount Race Track between Turns 1 and 2 along with a crossing over the race track bridge which was constructed back in 1956. True to color, Elvis sings a few songs while women fall heads over heel for a man who has it all; good looks, a great singer... and a daring sports car driver who wins the race but in twist of fate.... he doesn't win the girl!
