Minolta 28-80
This is a great value everyday kinda lens. Light, quick to focus and sharp throughout the optical range. Good colour separation and edge sharpness on both full and cropped sensors.

Cheap but practical
I was quite impressed with the delivery time way ahead of the forecast. Unit came nicely boxed and within minutes was on my @900 body, working very well. Good feature is that original battery door does not have to be removed. Instead, it fits into a slot on the Base of the unit before screwing to camera. All the original shutter related controls on the camera, now work on the Base too, which makes shooting portrait mode easier. Good solid feel in the hand too helping to provide a steady grip.

Typical steam cleaner
The problem with steam cleaners is that the manufacturers insist on making their major parts like mop head out of steam perishable components. Although a great design in this case, the mop head literally destroys itself after a few months use. The clear plastic used in the construction is totally useless and inadequate for the job, it should be stainless steel (ideally). All manufacturers are as bad as each other, trusting cheap and nastyoriental components.
I like many cannot use the cleaner for its main purpose of mopping my floor. Another one for the skip!
