They were warm and cumfy so I did not have the usual cold feet in cold weather.A cold basement under this flat has given a cold floor in other winters, but no problem now because of these long socks up to the knees.

But it soon developed the same problem. I bought a new battery at eBay, but that was no better! I`ve now bought my first Doro smartphone which performs very well.

Light and thin,does the job well.
This pair of protective plastic plate covers are good at preventing over heating in the microwave cooker. Sometimes I spoilt a plate cover by setting the grill button. That can ruin the cover! Hence this purchase. Take care!

Thrilling chase,capture ,escape in Scotland and London
0 of 1 found this helpful I bought this DVD for a friend,and have not viewed it for some years.It`s the second of three film versions of John Buchan`s well known 1915 novel.There is a murder of a woman spy working for British Intelligence.She had been following a group called The 39 Steps,who are after the plans for a British ballistic missile project that could tip the balance of power in Europe.Wrongly suspected,Richard Hannay{Kenneth More] is pursued by police and the enemy agents through the scenic Trossachs area of Scotland.We see our hero escape from the train on the Forth Rail Bridge,quite thrilling I found this.
Later he jumps out of a police station window,poses as a botany lecturer in a highlands girls boarding school[comical this is],and flees handcuffed to an attractive lady sports teacher[Taina Elg].They hide under a river bridge while police search all around.At that stage she doesn`t know he is not guilty of murder.The chase through rugged hills I found thrilling.
We meet Sid James [ex-convict lorry driver], Andrew Cruickshank, James Hayter as Mr Memory Man at a London music hall, who has memorised the missile plans.This a film that bears repeat watching,even if it does deviate substantially from the novel.It stands on its own merits for me.Good clean fun at a rattling pace.

Little batteries to light up my life
Lower cost than other coin cell batteries. Good delivery. I only needed a few to reduce my storage clutter. Trying out useful little torch which uses these batteries, so I can walk out on dark evenings. Online buying is good fun, what!
