Book Review - Fiction
We knew this book was fiction when we purchased it. Knowing the real history of the time and characters of the book, we thought it would be interesting to see how an ancestor was portrayed in this story. We were disappointed that in a historical fiction book, many of the facts were either distorted or just plain wrong. Some of the relationships between characters were incorrect. It is too bad that the authors chose to twist the history rather than the story.

Jumanji
I was looking for good, clean movies to use in my middle school classroom. I teach immigrant children, and many of them have never seen older movies. My students love it. It is funny and entertaining, yet it has a good message about love of family and the importance of friends. It's perfect for my needs.
