moving and told in a compassionate truthful voice
The illustrations are intense and may be too graphic for a budding toddler BUT appropriate for children who have begun to understand "right" from "wrong".
It's a great teaching tool about privilege and about the realities of other people's lives around the world and sometimes just in a neighboring town/ city.
