Universal Magentic Door Seal Fridge Freezer 130x70cm Refrigerator kit (Screw In)

Fiddly to fit but it does the job.

Bought this for my very old chest freezer. Did not realise that the old seal was not magnetic and therefore there is not a strong seal but it works by the heavy lid compressing it.. I had to cut the old one out as it was built into the lid and the new one was a bit fiddly to fit but managed it by holding one end with a g-cramp while screwing along the length of the rest. There were no screws supplied but I always have a large collection in my shed. So far it has stopped it icing up around the edge but I may have to think about a different kind of seal or fit some thin strips of metal along the edge for it to seal properly.

Works well for now

Looks and feels like the original but only time will tell how long it lasts. Used to descale the original until it seized up and i couldn't dismantle it so had to replace it with this one. No problems so far and it is nice to be able to control the temperature once again.

star wars

Lego Star Wars games prompted me to introduce my grandsons to the films on which they were based. Episodes 1 to 6 are all great fun and full of exciting action. This episode appeared years after episode 4 which started the whole thing off, but they are all as fresh as ever.
