Top quality batteries.
We have tried various batteries for scooters and now power chair and have found the Leoch to be the most consistently good. Highly recommended.

Epensive, but very good and lightweight.
We have been having trouble lately with the Lead acid AGM batteries on my wife's power chair. We decided therefore to try the much more expensive Lithium batteries. We have had them just over 2 weeks and so far they have been very good. Because of the different discharge characteristics the power lights on the control panel aren't reliable, they don't go down like before. When it drops low enough the chair just stops. No creeping back with it 's low battery beeper going. It should however have a longer range and we have only stopped once and they hadn't been fully charged then. They are so much lighter than the standard ones, which helps greatly as I have just had a hernia repair op and shouldn't lift heavy weights for 6 weeks.
