Great Read

Terrific story, great writing, likable, endearing characters. Sort of the 'kick-off' story to the "Springwater" series. Loved every paragraph of it.

Disappointing Read

Read this AFTER I read "The Hating Game", which was a much more enjoyable read. For some reason, this one took FOREVER to get to the end, and I had a hard time staying with it. The ending was sweet, and loose ends were tied up and various 'situations' were resolved, but it just took so long to get there. I literally had to force myself to keep reading, whereas with "The Hating Game", I couldn't put it down, didn't want it to end, and as soon as I finished it, I wanted to read it again. Not so with "Second First Impressions." While this one had its moments, they were too few and too far between.
