A childrens favourite
This is a favourite book that has always been loved by the children.
It is both a pleasure to read by both adult and child. The illustrations are beautiful too.
I have used this book in the pre-school where I work too.

Not pretty, but such a compelling read and a true story.
This is not my usual read, but it is a very compelling book. It's a true story, about the reality of poverty and deprivation on our streets, and the effects unemployment and loss of hope. The part of life that most of us want to ignore. The story is told, however with a sense of humour, and shows us the difference that it can make when one person cares.
This book, has recently been filmed in Leeds, as a movie - and having seen some of the photo's of the characters - I just can't wait to see it.

Nice pleasant easy going movie.
Pleasant easy going love story - made all the more enjoyable by the beautiful voice and violin playing Johnny Flynn.
