Sony VAIO TX1XP/B PC Notebook

I had been looking for a laptop that would play DVDs, music, would connect to the internet and I could use for my MRes degree. Since I travel globally for work it needed to be small and lightweight because carrying hand luggage round an airport for 6 hours is no fun, it always ends up feeling like a ton! Then one of these came up, it was about a year old but had the same specification as other, new laptops I had been looking at. And was the lightest I'd found. So I decided to buy it. And I love it. It does everything I need it to and fits in a 10 litre rucksack (or a large handbag) with everything else I carry and it weights less than a decent length hardback novel. The battery life is excellent, up to 7 hours and it really does last that long. It has an AV mode for easy access to media player which is brilliant.It has surprisingly good speakers and screen quality. My only warning is a 12" screen is SMALL (about half a standard desktop screen)and you may find it too small. I would recommend seeing such small screens before buying because I think some people would find it too small. Similarly the touchpad is smaller than normal and may be difficult to use with big hands. But if you're after a light, portable notebook then this will do the trick.

Sadly disappointed

I bought it because I like the film. It's missing at least one strong track I would have expected it to have and over all is a bit disappointing to listen too. BUT it's great background music, fairly upbeat and not very intrusive. I'm sure others will like it more than I do as none of the music is bad. So it's a matter of taste. Next time I will check the track list and go on Youtube first. I'll put it in the car and have it on as background music on trips with my husband :)
