Brilliant DVD- Great Value.
I bought this DVD for our two year old Grandson who is mad about anything Thomas the Tank Engine.
Having watched the original series (narrated by Ringo Starr) when it was broadcast in 1984 with our own son (his Dad), I wanted to be able to show our Grandson an original DVD which does not contain computer graphics but had real models and scenery, like his own little layout.
This series has a certain charm about it compared to the modern computer generated ones.
If you are modelling a Sodor/Thomas layout, then you can get some good ideas what can be achieved with the model engines that are readily available.
Our Grandson loves it and doesn't seem to mind that the action is a bit 'static' compared to the later computer generated ones.
I will probably order some more of the original series (I already have series 2) before computer graphics were introduced (from Series 12)

A real quality item!
1 of 1 found this helpful I have over the years purchased 3 of these very well made soap dispensers. They fit nicely on the wall either with adhesive (liquid nails or the Grohe adhesive not supplied) or screws. They look great and we have had many admiring comments. Keeps basin area free. In the 5 years since the first one was fitted, we have had no problems with rusting - it still looks as good as the day we installed it. It is a quality fairly expensive item compared to some others, but it is a case of “quality is remembered long after price is forgotten “.
