Download fine, CD didn't work

I bought this to specifically to have the CD. However the CD did not work on my computer. The code worked but it would not download properly. I have used TurboTax CDs for several years so I'm not sure why it didn't work. I was able to use the download and it did work. The TurboTax works just fine. Every year they improve it a bit. I like that it has all the stuff from last year.
