Breath new life into old T270's
I purchased this kit because my renter dropped my old T270 Shindaiwa on a rock and shattered the tank. I struggled with the cost because my 270 is old and seemed worn out. Went ahead, ordered it, then regretted it because we use the saw all the time. Went out and bought a new Echo trimmer while waiting for the package to arrive. When this kit arrived, I saw the new tank conversion had a different style breather on it, but it was easy to replace. Popped it on, filled the tank, started it and had the shock of my life. The conversion brought my trimmer back from deaths door. I immediately regretted my new trimmer purchase, not because I was dissatisfied with the Echo, I just didn't need to buy it. The T270 ran like a new unit. The only thing I can think of is that the older style tank breather had somehow dragged down the saw. The old style breather did tend to leak fuel and the saw is near 20 years old, but this upgrade really revived my saw. Bottom line - don't know if this will be everyone's experience, but if your T270 seems tired and the breather area leaks - I highly recommend this upgrade.

Making natto requires good starter and this is it!
To make Natto, you need viable culture and this is a great way to purchase it. We make 1 lb (dried beans) batches of Natto at a time and one spoon (tiny natto spoon included) is more than enough to inoculate a 1 lb batch. This means a small bottle of starter will last a long, long time. A constant steady temp of 100+ degrees is needed for good results, so ensure you have a warming system that will provide consistent heat. We have never had a failed batch using Nattomoto.

Economical, works great, little downside
1 of 1 found this helpful The TRUEtrack system is the most economical I have found. A few reviews said it takes longer than most for the result, which I have not experienced. Perhaps earlier versions took longer, I don't know. Total time is about 10 seconds from sample to reading - about the same as every system I have used. If you are worried about a 3 second delay over your present system, it may annoy you. If you get errors, on your first tests, try a slightly larger sample. I do notice that the drop needs to be large enough to immediately fill the strip area - and you don't get a second try. Once you get on to it, there are absolutely no problems. The great news is the cost is about 1/3 of what I have been able to find elsewhere. Results are accurate and for me, a 15 cent test is much better than a 50 cent test when you are doing 4 tests a day. The only downside I can comment on is I wish the meter could be switch select between mmol/L and mg/dl. That would give those of us that prefer mmol/L readings to read directly from the meter rather than converting. At the end of the day, I would recommend the system without hesitation; it's great value and for most everyone mg/dl is the preferred scale for use in the United States.
