Worth Owning
If you are someone who only is familiar with the Avengers episodes that were broadcast in the States, these older episodes inform how the series evolved over the years. They have a more serious tone than the later episodes and the production values are much lower due to the budgets in Britain in those days. Further, in a few episodes the sound is muffiled to the point the actors are difficult to understand.
But, all things considered, the older episodes are very much worth owning if you are a true Avengers fan.

Stunning film. The images will stay with me for a long time. Highly recommended for anyone who has seen the original Blade Runner and is curious what happened after that film ended. Makes you wonder what it means to be "human."

Fills in The Avengers History
If you are someone who only is familiar with the Avengers episodes that were broadcast in the States, these older episodes inform how the series evolved over the years. They have a more serious tone than the later episodes and the production values are much lower due to the budgets in Britain in those days. Further, in a few episodes the sound is muffiled to the point the actors are difficult to understand.
But, all things considered, the older episodes are very much worth owning if you are a true Avengers fan.
