Difficult to find charger and cannot activate phone with Comcast
The charger did not come with my purchase and it was difficult to find one for 15V 1A. When I finally did find one, the charger port was still too small. I ended up filing away the edges of the hole and was able to get it to light up with only a 12V charger.
While the ethernet connection seemed to work fine, I wasn't able to activate the Xfinity/Comcast telephone line I bought this extremely cheap modem for. The modem is not on the approved list of modems and will not activate your service. Even when the xfinity representative tried to manually add the modem as an approved Cisco DPC3008 (instead of this DPC3208), the phone would never provide a dial tone, despite the internet working. I ended needing to rent a modem from them instead of using this product I already paid for.
