Excellent functionality and easy setup
6 of 6 found this helpful I'm very impressed with this little MiFi router.
Easy setup - insert SIM (full size SIM only) and battery. Plug-in to computer with supplied USB lead to charge battery and switch on using the button on the front. It may take a minute or two to connect to the mobile phone network. Then you can watch it (lcd display on front of unit) working its way up the spectrum - 2G, 3G and then 4G (if available in your location).
It should then appear in your computer's list of wireless connections automatically (preset for 2.4GHz but has option for 5GHz). The network id and password is on a card in the box (or in the battery compartment).
You can connect to the router interface by wireless. Allows you display usage stats, and even send SMS texts. Add a micro SD card for shared disc storage.
Obviously the first thing you should do is change the router's password. That's probably all you would normally need to do.
Well featured software with good web interface. All the features you would expect from a broadband router. Restrict access by MAC address, change wireless channel and configure auto-off (power saving). Also configure LAN IP filter (firewall), SIP ALG, and Virtual Server/DMZ.
I don't know about battery life (others have said 4-6 hours) as I use the supplied mains-USB adapter and supplied USB cable, and leave it as mains-powered.
Perhaps most importantly this particular model (E5577Cs-321) has dual aerial connections (TS9) allowing you to add external aerials which is necessary for rural locations. (Most 4G routers do not allow connection of an external aerial, or have only one aerial connection - you need TWO to take advantage of 4G.)
I think it also has an app so you can manage the router from your phone, but I haven't tried that.
Rock-solid connection with no drop-outs.
An excellent device, which does all you would expect from a broadband-style router. Thank you Huawei.

Excellent battery for the S2 GT-I9100
Excellent battery. Brand new (unlike the Samsung ones being sold on here, which are "new old stock" and are out of date). Retail packaging.
More importantly it actually fits the Samsung S2 GT-I9100 - other ones I've bought which claimed to fit are too big for the I9100. Check the dimensions before you buy!
Doesn't get hot in use and lasts massively longer than my old battery. Still over 90% battery left after 3 days switched on!

Excellent quality prints from this colour laser
1 of 1 found this helpful Another quality printer at a reasonable price from Brother. They have a knack of providing excellent home office equipment at a fair price.
They make laser printers affordable. Avoid being ripped-off on printer inks. If you avoid the cheapest stuff, you can get excellent quality prints from using mid-price toner cartridges.
I've used a Brother B&W laser for many years and bought this colour printer to replace my old Epson colour laser. Quite a compact unit - bigger than a B&W laser but much smaller than the Epson and HP lasers I've had before.
This is an excellent colour laser, and comes with both wireless and network cable connections. Duplex printing is built in! Includes AirPrint and Mopria. (Note this is not an "all-in-one" - there is no document scanner - it is a printer.)
A bit fiddly to set up on the one-line display but you only have to do this once.
The software driver has all the options you will need for whatever you are printing.
I'm very happy with this printer.
