It’s got plenty of fuzz
Look, this is not a true octave fuzz. It adds more of a treble boost than an octave. That being said, the tones it gets from that switch being turned on are fun and full of fuzz. For sub $40 US, it’s a great intro fuzz with pretty decent to good versatility between vol/tone/fuzz controls. Vol unity is around 10-11, so plenty of kick when you turn it up.

A fun fuzz and it doesn't hurt the wallet
Some might criticize that it is not a "true" octave pedal like you might find with a Boss or MXR and they are right. The Octave functions more as a boost in the treble frequencies. But, what you do get is a fun, messy, full bodied fuzz that sounds great on my Tele's single coils and my 339 copy's humbuckers. For sub $40 USD, it is not much investment with plenty of fun return.
