Zhiyun Z1 Rider M - best gopro gimble available in March 16

I am one of those people who researches the life out of a purchase decision before I make it. I watched many hours of YouTube before deciding which gimble was the best available. It is expensive but if you look hard enough you will find a Chinese merchant ready to deal. I bought mine through best offer negotiation on ebay. You simply cannot beat the convenience of a gimble that does not have a battery laden handle. Some have the handle attached and earlier models of this style of gimble have the handle attached by cable. There are only two products available that are compact, i.e. no handle, enough to take anywhere. There is a YouTube clip comparing this gimble with its almost equal competitor in which the two are impacted against each other in a gimble motor show of strength and this one wins hands down. On arrival the Z1 does not disappoint. It really does function as the YouTube critics predict. Smooth operation and compact convenience. You can attach this gimble to anything that you can attach your gopro (or many of the other action cameras) to. I have already discovered that walking around with this gimble does not draw the stares from passers-by that a clunky set would. On the negative, but this is true of all gimbles currently available, the gimble is designed to take the gopro without a protective housing. This means that now that you have a gimble to make your action shots come out smoothly your expensive gopro is at risk of damage from the action. There are other gimbles on the drawing board currently attracting crowd funding but the Z1 Rider M is definitely the leader in gimbles that actually exist at the moment. March 16.
