14 of 15 found this helpful This little monster is a beast @ almost 30 pounds. I was looking for options for my standard cab truck as I like to have the seat all the way back I built a custom enclosure on my cnc. I had 2 12 inch kicker crv's on 2 1,000 watt amps this little sub puts them to shame on a single 1,000 watt amp. at full volume there is no distortion and handles the amp nicely as the amp is 450 watts rms and the sub is 900 watts rms and it hits just as hard with a lower bottom end. After 3 hours of hard hitting the sub was removed and a temp probe inserted to the coil and was only 25 degrees above the ambient temp. I saved some money on this purchase and a lot of leg room. Do yourself a favor and throw your mainstream subs in the trash today you will not be dissapointed. Please give it a few days to break in as it it is super stiff it takes several pounds of force just to move the cone buy hand after broken in the lows will follow.
