Faulty Vavle - Was it a genuine part?
I purchased this balancing valve a few months ago and the plumber has just fitted it and has pointed out that it is faulty as it does not completely stop water flow to the shower head when it's turned off. The very reason I purchased it in the first place. The packaging was intact and sealed on arrival and has only just been opened today 7/02/2024. The fitter noticed and showed me a couple of small metal fragments that had been pushed out of the valve by the water pressure and one side of the valve does not properly open or close. i now need to purchased another valve in order to hopefully solve the problem and return the faulty part for a refund all of this is costing money as i have to pay the plumber regardless.
