Shockwafe Ultra 9.2.4 GET IT!!
Forget the mainstream guys like Sony, Samsung, Bose, etc., who gives you a little and expect you to pay a lot! Sure, they're quality, but it still pays to shop around! I almost bought the Samsung HW N950 when I was looking to upgrade to a 4K soundbar system. I am terribly glad that I did not. I stumbled on Nakamichi quite by accident, having never heard of them before. Boy oh boy, I'm glad I did. I bought the Shockwafe Ultra 9.2.4 (the refurbished model) and not only saved almost half the money but I got a far superior sound system, with actual surround sound via 4 rear speakers (not virtual which everybody else expects you to be satisfied with or make you spend extra buying the rear speakers) and 2 sound thumping 10" subwoofers. I didn't hesitate at all buying the refurbished set as Nakamichi refurbished this themselves and then willing to stand behind their product by giving you a 1 year warranty!! Holy smokes...knocked my socks off not only when I was watching a movie with Dolby Atmos or DTS:X, but listening to my music via bluetooth. It gave me goosebumps...the 4K television with this Shockwafe Ultra 9.2.4 has reinvented watching movies at home! It is obvious that a lot of thought was put into this system because you can feel, see, and hear the quality. I love the design of their soundbar...the remote control is fantastic, allowing you to change settings and volumes so easily. the user manual is also very well thought out...I believe the people who are having problems have not taken the time to read and get familiar with this system before setting it up. Which, by the way, is very easy. After I bought this, I was second guessing myself, wondering if what I bought was overkill. It is not...I couldn't be happier with my decision!! Do yourself a favor...if you're in the market for a sound system, give this one a shot...I believe you'll be glad you did!! Last, but surely not least, Nakamichi's customer service is second to none!!
