Brilliant Must See
A clever script is a must and then you need actors that are believable. Both were achieved.This film is brilliant and the 'might have been' relationship between the characters played by Gosling and Mulligan is sensitively played and provides a contrast to the repeated extreme violence depicted in other scenes. I just hope this violence doesn't spoil this riveting film for some viewers, but I suspect it will.

Adelina Patti is now forgotten by most of us but these recordings made in 1905 and 1906 at the latter part of her long career are sensational. A complete set from the two visits made by the Gramophone Company to her Welsh Castle. Buy this cd now before it becomes as rare as her 12 inch original 78rpm shellac records that were sold for one pound back in the first decade of the 20th century,

Luonnotar
I own many interpretations of Sibelius' music on vinyl and CD and bought this solely for Elizabeth Soderstrom's performance in the tone poem Luonnotar - I was certainly not disappointed.
