You get what you pay for
It's important to understand that these are budget tools; low cost, poor quality, limited life. For the price they're OK but don't expect them to be easy to use or to last very long. The punch tool didn't line up correctly and neither did the eyelet pliers. The handles on the pliers bent the first time I used them but maybe I squeezed too hard. Once I straightened them out (with a small hammer) they worked OK for a while but then the pivot pin came loose which actually made the misalignment easier to work with. I've finished the job now and thrown both tools in the bin.
