Great entry-level machine, and a more polished design than the EC-155
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a surprisingly large improvement over the ec-155 (the previous De'Longhi entry level machine). This is still a relatively low end model, with pressurized portafilters that make espresso easier while taking away some of your control over the process, but the fit, finish, portafilter handle, steam wand and almost everything else is just a bit better.

Just okay. Only partial compatibility. "Activities" don't always work.
Can't set up activities properly because it doesn't know how to change my tv's source/input. On my sceptre, and I imagine on many other tvs, there is no button to push to cycle through the inputs. One button brings up the menu, then you use up/down keys to select the source. Also, the activity buttons don't bring on both my devices half the time, and the little help menu takes much longer to use than just mapping buttons to power each device. Not disappointing enough to return it, but not really worth recommending at the price point either. The down volume button on my old remote stopped working, and this remote accomplishes replacing that at least.

Good beginner kit
This is a good kit with everything you need to get started. Good for beginner to intermediate skier/snowboarders.
